Priming

Matt has started priming today. After primer has dried the boat is sprayed with a light coat of contrast colour (in this case purple) to enable accurate sanding.

Priming

Elsie Alice is now in our painting workshop and Matt is preparing her for painting. He'll be priming tomorrow.

Shelves

While we're waiting for paintshop space  Toby is making a nice shelving unit for the kitchen out of beech.

Sprayfoam

The boat is battened and insulated and we've begun cutting back for wiring. The engine has been partially fitted and will be removed so the engine compartment can be sprayed. The next job is the exterior paintwork: navy and cream.

Ballast and battening

We've ballasted the boat and the battening is nearly finished. Once the subfloor is down we'll get ready for sprayfoaming.
